Most site administrators acknowledge that bad user password management is often the weak link in their security chain.
Furthermore, hackers can steal usernames and passwords with viruses.
MyPCiD locks a user's account to a particular computer.
Even if a hacker steals the username and password they will not be able to log in.
Your users register the PC (or PCs) they most often use to log in to your site. Thereafter, MyPCid checks to see if
they are using this registered PC to log on. If the PC isn't recognised, access to the online account can be restricted.
Your members register their computer's identity just once: MyPCiD takes a unique "fingerprint" of their PC.
Of course, if the user needs to log in from an unregistered PC, a one-time emergency passcode can be delivered to him by email.
Once registered, the MyPCiD check happens automatically and requires no further information from the User.
It is simple, quick and effective.
